On the 11 – 12 November the VTIO ran its 2011 Tree Climbing Championship and preliminary climbing workshop. into trees’ Joe Harris was involved in organising the workshop, along with world tree climbing champion Scott Forrest; it was a great success, with a full turnout of 55 attendees. Among the participants was leading tree-climbing photographer Rob Fisher of Fisher Photo Industry, who took some great shots during the course of the day:
The climbing competition on the next day was also a great success, with warm weather and a beautiful view out across the marina. Congratulations to Kiah Martin and Gerard Reynolds for winning the 2011 VTCC masters’ challenge, and to all the volunteers, judges, participants and organisers for making the day run so smoothly.
