Spiderjacked

The 2011 International Tree Climbing Championship was held in July, in Parramatta NSW.  into trees climber Joe Harris represented Australia, finishing second by less than a point to Scott Forrest of New Zealand: the highest place ever achieved by an Australian in the ITCC men’s grade, and only the second time ever that an Australian has reached the men’s Masters.  In addition, it was the first time that the ART Spiderjack has been used at an ITCC.  The video below was filmed and edited by Jordan Glossop of iCLIMBinc, and shows off some of the use of the Spiderjack.

iCLIMBinc is an organization founded by Jordan Glossop, dedicated to raising the profile of tree climbing in the Asia-Pacific region.  Set up in 2009, iCLIMBinc has used a range of high-quality tree climbing videos as well as an informative website giving details of the various events and competitions in the Asia-Pacific, to generate enormous interest and a rapidly-growing group of fans.  Check out the iCLIMBinc site, or follow their YouTube channel to be one of the first to see their new feature film.
