Big(gest) tree climbing

Over the 2011 Christmas holidays, into trees joined a team of American canopy scientists and researchers, climbing and measuring the giant Eucalyptus regnans in Tasmania.  The video below is a short collection of clips from a couple of the trees we climbed – including the largest eucalypt the team had ever measured, a massive specimen with two leaders and an almost completely intact, spreading crown.  A fantastic tree, and a great group of people.  Much fun.
