Portland (Oregon) is a fair trip from Australia, but the team from the 7 o’clock news made the journey, and a brief wrap-up of the recent ITCC made it onto the national news (starts at about five minutes, after the Olympic conclusion).
Congratulations to the ITCC organisers, judges and volunteers for a competition which ran as smoothly as if it had been on rails. The results were even up online within a couple of days, unprecedented for a major tree climbing comp.
